Sidney By The Sea

This spacious updated (approximately 922 square feet)  1 BD, 1 BA condo is on the quiet side of Sidney, with private access to forest, picnic park and ocean inlet with marina. It has two large and fully enclosed (with screens) balconies – one with terra cotta tiles and one with laminate flooring – both painted and finished with wainscoting and baseboards, with ceiling fans in both balconies. Totally separable from each other and the rest of the unit, either balcony could be used as a den, home office, art studio, library, plant-filled sunroom, or smaller second bedroom. The living room and the bedroom are spacious and comfortable, large enough for full sized furniture. There are new countertop and cabinets in galley kitchen, ceramic farmhouse sink, and large pass through window to the living/dining area that could be easily transformed to a breakfast bar. New light cherry laminate flooring was set throughout the whole unit which creates a very cozy and homey atmosphere. Warm contemporary paint colors add modern and stylish feel to this beautiful and bright condo. The two main closets have built-in organizers with varied height hanging racks, shelving and mirror doors. There is a large organized storage closet in the hallway.

The building is perfect for working professionals or as retirement/vacation residence. You can enjoy a very quiet and respectful atmosphere. Strata are well organized with frequent social activities for those who want to participate. Handy to both BC Ferries Swartz Bay Terminal and Victoria International Airport ad 30 minutes commute to downtown Victoria. Easy biking or walking distance to Sidney, which has all amenities – three grocery stores,  coffee shops, restaurants, liquor stores, gas stations, municipal offices, movie theatres, medical, dental and alternative medicine  clinics, hair salons, many small specialty shops, police and fire departments,  connection to Washington State Ferry. Access to many walking / hiking paths and bike trails, including cycle path to Victoria. The area is surrounded by marinas and is excellent for active living people or to relax and rejuvenate.

The building is adult only, 45 years and older. Parking, heat, hot and cold water are included in the rent with one year rental lease.
